I believe that music is magic. If music wasn't around and you tried to describe it to people, no one would believe you about it. The ability to create and mix non-language noises into something that directly affects someone's mood sounds like something out of a CIA conspiracy theory, but it's real and we all interact with it every day. This being the case, it makes sense that music is hard to understand for the uninitiated.
